Welcome to Faculty Day 2013
The main purpose of the Faculty of Health Sciences Faculty day is to give researchers, under- and post-graduate students the opportunity to present their research findings to the Faculty. Research is presented in the form of oral and poster presentations, as well as just posters. On post-graduate level (MSc and higher) prizes are awarded for the best contributions in clinical and pre-clinical research. Under-graduate students up to honours level, compete for an under-graduate prize.
Closing date for abstracts 18 June 2013.
Distinguished speakers from within and outside the Faculty are also invited to take part in the proceedings and Continued Professional Development (CPD) points can be earned by attending Faculty Day.
Faculty Day concludes with the prizegiving function in the evening, where the faculty members have the opportunity to socialise with fellow faculty members.

Even though you registered for Faculty Day 2012 you must confirm your attendance for 2013.
- Please login using your registered email address and password;
- Go to 'Your profile information';
- Click the 'Update' icon at the top of 'Your Registration Details' page;
- Make any amendments if necessary
- Click on the button, "Confirm your Attendance for 2013".
Faculty Research Day will take place:
Tuesday, 20th of Aug 2013 (afternoon) and
Wednesday, 21 Aug 2013 (all day)
